China to control population within 1.37 billion in the 11th Five-Year Plan period

China is to control its population below 1.37 billion, the infant mortality rate below 2 percent and further lower pregnant women's mortality rate during the 11th Five-Year Plan period, sources from the international seminar on quality service for family planning and reproductive health held in Shanghai said.
