Chinese state councilor meets Singaporean guest

Chinese State Councilor Chen Zhili said in Beijing Thursday that the relations between China and Singapore now enjoy good momentum of development.

In a meeting with Singaporean Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean, Chen said China and Singapore have established a mechanism of high-level cooperation, decided some important cooperation fields such as high-tech, financial service, investment and human resources, and scored fruitful achievements in personnel, cultural and educational exchanges.

Chen said she hoped the two sides would continue to promote the friendly relations between the two nations.
