The catalog price of the aircraft was about 4 billion US dollars and the planes will be delivered to eight leading Chinese airline companies between 2006 and 2008, said the source.

The Chinese airline companies are Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Hainan Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines.

The source also revealed to Xinhua that the CASGC will soon sign another purchase agreement with Boeing for 80 more B737 aircraft.
