    Filipinos stage anti-US demonstration

    In a city some 80 km west of capital Manila, demonstrators burn images of six US soldiers suspected of raping on Nov. 29. Filipinos staged an anti-US demonstration that day to protest the rape of a Philippine woman by an US soldier during the US-Philippine military exercises. A 22-year-old Philippine woman accused six US soldiers of raping against her on Nov. 1st in US marine base.

    A German woman is seized in Iraq

    TV grab on Nov. 29 shows that a German woman (C) has been kidnapped with her driver in a city in northwest of Iraq. Spokesperson with German foreign ministry confirmed on the same day that a German woman citizen was missing in Iraq and government has established a special team to look into the case.

    Suicide bombs in Bangladesh claim 7 lives

    Policemen inspect the explosion spot in Gazipur, Bangladesh, Nov. 29, 2005. At least seven persons were killed and about 60 others wounded in two bomb blasts apparently by suicide bombers of the Islamist militants in Bangladesh's southeastern Chittagong and Gazipur near Dhaka Tuesday morning, police and television channels said.

    Australia holds anti-bird flu exercise

    Measures taken to control bird flu outbreak in Hunan

To control the spread of bird flu, Hunan local government has activated emergency plans and Ministry of Agriculture has sent experts to the affected area to oversee the quarantine work and disease control efforts.
