A forum on the constitutional development of Hong Kong, jointly arranged by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, will be held in Shenzhen on Friday, said a press release of the HKSAR government Tuesday.

At the invitation of the HKSAR government, Deputy Secretary- General of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) Qiao Xiaoyang; Vice-Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPCSC Li Fei; and Vice-Minister of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council Zhang Xiaoming will address the forum.

The forum will be held at 9:30 a.m. in Shenzhen. The participants will include the chairmen and vice-chairmen of the committees of the Legislative Council, the chairmen of the district councils and members of the various sectors of the community.
