The Embassy of Romania hosted a grand reception Thursday in Beijing, celebrating the National Day of Romania.

China and Romania established diplomatic ties on Oct. 5, 1949, and the two countries have maintained a close relationship of cooperation.

Romanian Foreign Minister Mihai Razvan Ungureanu just concluded his visit to China on Tuesday.
