Mongolian president visits Hangzhou

Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar on Thursday said he welcomes businesses in east China's Zhejiang Province to invest in Mongolia..

He made the remarks during a meeting with Zhou Guofu, deputy secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, in Hangzhou, the province's capital.

Enkhbayar said his China trip is successful and he hopes that the governmental departments and entrepreneurs of Mongolia and Zhejiang Province will develop better relations.

Zhou said he believes that Enkhbayar's visit will enhance the mutual understanding and cooperation between the province and Mongolia.

Enkhbayar visited a high-tech zone, a local company and a Buddhism temple in the province on Thursday.

The Mongolian president will leave for Shanghai to continue his seven-day state visit to China late this afternoon. He is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.
