China's top policy-makers announced on Thursday that the country will further implement a mutually beneficial and win-win strategy of opening-up and properly address the situation of trade imbalance in the next year.
China will endeavor to address its trade imbalance with other countries by modifying the structure of imports and exports in the coming year, according to a statement issued after the conclusion of the Central Economic Work Conference, an annual top-level meeting for deciding the country's major economic strategy and policy for the coming year.
"We shall properly handle the trade disputes and make active efforts to better the trade environment," it added.
While making continuous efforts to attract more foreign investment, the country will also focus on making a better use of the foreign capital, to raise the efficiency of capital use and help promote the upgrading of domestic industries, said the statement.
It also said that China will continue to implement the "going-out" strategy, which means to encourage more Chinese companies to invest and do business overseas, and seek a mutually-beneficial common development.
