Demand and price of aluminum imports to go down
font size

The Ministry of Commerce released a report showing China's demands for aluminum imports will slow down sharply and prices will also go down further.

Industrial insiders think the imported aluminum is normally priced at 450 USD to 460 USD per ton. So the current price of 600 USD per ton is irrational and does not reflect the demand and supply relationship, but manipulation of speculators on the international market. In this case, price of imported aluminum should have massive possibility of getting cheaper.
