Belarusian President Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko left Beijing Tuesday at the end of a three-day state visit to China.

During his visit in China, Lukashenko held talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao on Monday, followed by a signing ceremony of 12 cooperative documents.

Of these documents, there are a joint statement signed by the two countries and a protocol on Belarus' accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Lukashenko expressed the hope that the trade volume between the two countries would reach one billion US dollars in the near future.

President Lukashenko arrived in Beijing Sunday night for his third trip to China since taking his presidency.
