The delegation is headed by Hadi Utomo, president of the party. "The Chinese side hopes to take Hadi's visit as an opportunity to step up the exchanges between the CPC and the Indonesian Democratic Party and promote a smooth and sound development of the ties between the two nations," he said. Hadi said his visit marked a good beginning of the exchange and cooperation between the two parties. The major political forces of Indonesia, including the Democratic Party, have placed great emphasis on maintaining friendly exchanges with the CPC, taking the inter-party relations as a significant component of the overall strategic partnership between Indonesia and China, Hadi said.
