Mongolian president's visit to China boosts bilateral ties: officialMongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar's just-concluded visit to China has advanced the good-neighborly partnership of mutual trust between the two countries, a Mongolian official said Monday. Damdin Tsogtbaatar, a foreign policy advisor for Enkhbayar, told a press conference that it was the newly-elected president's first state visit to a foreign country. During the visit, the Mongolian president held talks with Chinese leaders and mutual understanding between the two sides was deepened, Tsogtbaatar said. "The visit also strengthened cooperation in the fields of the economy and trade," added the official. "A business delegation of more than 50 Mongolian enterprises accompanied the president. They held talks with Chinese counterparts in Shanghai and signed some agreements of cooperation." Enkhbayar's state visit to China lasted from Nov. 27 to Dec. 3.
