Jia Chunwang, procurator-general of China's Supreme People's Procuratorate, met in Shenzhen Thursday with a visiting Portuguese procuratorate delegation, headed by Prosecutor General Mr.Souto Moura and a visiting Danish procuratorate delegation headed by Director of Public Prosecutions Henning Fode.

Jia extended a warm welcome to both delegations for their attendance of the ASEM (Asia Europe Meeting) Prosecutors-General Conference.

With the changing international and regional situation, Jia said, every country of the world is endangered by terrorism and extremism, and challenged by drug trafficking and smuggling. Strengthening cooperation in prosecution among all countries is paramount in the crackdown on the transnational organizational crimes.

Jia and his Portuguese and Danish guests also had an exchange of views in the fields with their common interests.
