Eight int'l air routes opened in ancient Chinese capital
font size

The Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines opened eight new international routes at Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Sunday.

The eight new routes will link Xi'an with Los Angeles, Vancouver, Paris, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, London, Delhi and Bangkok.

The ancient capital of Xi'an has been attracting increasing overseas tourists since it abounds in Chinese cultural relics sites including the mausoleum of China's first emperor Qinshihuang and the mausoleum's underground army, the terracotta warriors and horses.
