    Oil depot fire north of London still raging

    Fire at the Buncefield depot north of London is still raging. Firefighters have withdrawn amid fears that one of the flaming tanks could contain highly volatile fuel, said Chief Fire Officer. The oil depot blasts have injured 43 people so far.

    Candles lighted for slain Chinese students in Ottawa

    Overseas Chinese held a special ceremony in a China Town, Ottawa, Dec. 11 to commemorate Chinese students Liu Tailang and Tian Linhai murdered on Dec. 6. Some Chinese students light candles to pray for two Chinese students at the entrance of a pub where Liu and Tian were slain.
