Chinese vice-premier meets Serbia-Montenegro guests

Chinese Vice-Premier Hui Liangyu expressed the hope in Beijing Tuesday that China and Serbia-Montenegro would enhance exchanges and cooperation to benefit people of the two countries.

Hui expressed appreciation for Serbia-Montenegro's adherence to the one-China policy in a meeting with Rasim Ljajic, minister of Human Rights and Minorities of Serbia-Montenegro, in Beijing on Tuesday.

While introducing China's economic and social development, Hui said that China attaches great importance to ethnic affairs, sticks to the system of regional autonomy for minority nationalities and assists ethnic people to boost economic and social development.

In this way, China enjoys steady development of an equal, united and harmonious relations among different ethnic groups, he said.

Admiring China's achievements in ethnic affairs and in social and economic progress, Ljajic expressed willingness to further increase cooperation and exchanges with China.
