At least 25 people including three children have died due to suspected encephalitis in Bihar in India, Indo-Asian News Service reported Tuesday.

These deaths in Bagaha district have triggered panic among the local people.

However, the district civil surgeon Arundhati Roy put the death toll at 12.

It's reported that local government is yet to send a medical team to study the cause of spread of the disease.
