Workshop held in Beijing on China's economic diplomacy
font size

China Reform Forum and the Capital University of Economics and Business have jointly held in Beijing a symposium on China's economic diplomacy.

Attending the workshop were officials with large enterprises, higher-education institutions, scholars as well as envoys from foreign countries.

The theme of the symposium is how to use diplomatic resources to help Chinese cities and enterprise cope with international risks in their increasing participation in globalization.

The topics for discussion include the theory and practice of economic diplomacy, the 11th Five-Year Period Plan (2006-2010) and the influence of Chinese economic development on the world, the difficulties in front of Chinese enterprises in their "going global" process, as well as energy diplomacy, trade diplomacy and Renminbi exchange rate.
