China Southern Airlines will select "pretty angels" to serve the chartered flights across the Taiwan Straits during the upcoming Spring Festival in 2006, which is based on the chartered flight agreement reached by the two sides across the Straits. This was learned from China Southern Airlines, according to Xinhua on Thursday in Guangzhou.
It is learned that the airlines has chosen three best crew groups composed of 42 stewardesses from more than 1,400 crewmembers for the chartered mission. The stewardesses for the maiden flight include Gao Yang who was awarded "pretty angel" at the finals of the Second Miss Airline International Contest. Many of the crew are members of the airlines' etiquette team and have taken part in various etiquette missions on behalf of the airlines, reports the overseas edition of People's Daily on Friday.
According to another report, the food served at the chartered flights will be mainly "Taiwan-flavored". In addition, Guangzhou cuisine and popular dishes will be offered in order to try the best possible to meet the demands of passengers.
