The output of homemade color TV sets reaches 80 million in 2005, among which, some 28 million were exported, according to estimates from Ministry of Information Industry.

China produced 58.81 million color TV sets, some 26.4 million were exported in previous three quarters of this year. Price of some flat panel TV dropped to 7000 yuan per unit. The output of color TV in 2004 stood at 74.318 million, said an official with the Ministry of Information Industry.

Domestic TV makers like TCL, Konka, Skyworth, Changhong, Hisense, Xoceco continue to expand sales with their domestic market share approaching 80%.
