China's coach Dustin Wilson said on Friday that Chinese freestyle aerials team is bidding to win two or three medals in the upcoming Turin 2006 Winter Olympics.

Dustin revealed the medal target after Chinese skier Wang Jiao won the gold medal of the third stop of the freestyle aerials FIS World Cup in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin province.

"We work very hard on the men's program. But women's team has more chances. So we will focus on the women in order to win the gold,"said Dustin who has been coaching China's freestyle team forone year.

With his technical guidance, Li Nina became the first Chinese to win an FIS World Cup Grand Prix and overall title as well as China's first gold medal at the 2005 world championships in Finland.

"With Nina's success last year, it is a good start of all and build our confidence. Everybody became very strong as well as the whole team," Dustin said.

Meanwhile, Dustin pointed out the disadvantage of the Chinese team, saying that some of Chinese skiers had not had a lot of experience.

When asked about China's main rivals in Turin Olympics, Dustin said they are mainly from Switzerland, Belarus and Australia.

The fourth stop of the FIS World Cup series will be also held in Changchun on Sunday.

"We have great jump. We have excellent training. We will be back on Sunday and put on another show. We will both come back strong with their work today," Dustin said.
