Chinese Wang Jiao took the title of women's aerials freestyle ski at the International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup Changchun stage on Friday.
Wang, who won her first world cup champion at the World Cup Lake Placid stage of the United States in January 14, 2005, clinched the gold with a total of 178.48 points in Changchun, the third stage of the World Cup series this season.
"I'm very satisfied with my performance today, I don't think I could make it better,"said Wang.
"This is the first title I won this season, but it will be a great boost to me as the Winter Olympics is approaching."
Wang's teammate Zhao Shanshan finished second with 172.67 points with Leu Evelyne of Switzerland third at 168.58.
Warren Shouldice of Canada made a flawless performance to take first position as well as the title of the men's event with 246.57points.
"This is my day," said 22-year-old Shouldice whose best record was the silver medal at the World Cup Lake Placid stage early in 2005. "The title gives me much confidence to get a good result in the Turin Olympics."
Belarus skier Dmitri Dashinski ended second with 244.18, followed by Canadian Kyle Nissen with 236.73.
The fourth stage of the World Cup will be held also in Changchun on Sunday.
