Luo Gan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee, wrapped up a visit to Uruguay on Sunday morning and left Montevideo for Cuba for a goodwill visit.

Luo met on Friday with Uruguayan Vice-President Rodolfo Nin Novoa, and the two sides expressed the hope to further develop bilateral ties.

Cuba is the last leg of Luo's visit to three Latin American countries, which has also taken him to Argentina.
