Namibian President ends visit to S. ChinaNamibian President Hifikepunye Pohamba on Sunday left Haikou, capital of China's southernmost Hainan Province, for Chongqing Municipality in southwest China. Pohamba said before his departure that Namibia and China have a long tradition of exchanges and communication, adding that he hoped his trip would help consolidate the relationship between the two countries, the economic and trade ties in particular. Pohamba arrived in Haikou on December 16, kicking off his six-day state visit to China as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao. During his stay in Hainan, Pohamba visited local key industrial companies and farms.
