High-ranking officials with Beijing Benz-Daimler-Chrysler attended the inauguration ceremony for home-made Benz cars in Longsheng Industrial Park, Beijing Economic-Development Area and announced that the first batch home-made Mercedes-Benz E class cars have been put into market on Dec. 22.

Relevant official with Benz in charge of sales said that the two types of Benz cars that have been put into market are brand new E280 and E200Kompressor, with the price of 620,000 and 525, 000 yuan respectively. So far these two types of cars have begun to receive orders from customers.
