Senior CPC official returns home after visit to three Latin American countries

Luo Gan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, arrived here Sunday morning after an official goodwill visit to Argentina, Uruguay and Cuba.

His entourage arrived aboard the same plane, including Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Shengjun, secretary-general of the Committee of the Political Science and Law under the CPC Central Committee, Ma Wenpu, deputy head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Zhang Xinfeng, vice minister of public security, and Duan Zhengkun, vice minister of justice.

Luo's Latin American tour started on Dec. 10.
