SW China province utilizes US$420 million of foreign investment

Southwest China's Yunnan Province utilized 420 million US dollars of contractual foreign investment in the Jan-Nov period this year, with 160 million US dollars in place, up 45.8 percent and 41.6 percent over the same period last year.

An official with the provincial economic cooperation office said that Yunnan has made great efforts to lure foreign investment, and designated 25 projects that needs ten million US dollars of investment each.

Among the 25 projects, the biggest one has utilized 130 million US dollars of contractual foreign investment.
