Chinese president appoints three new ambassadors

Chinese President Hu Jintao appointed new ambassadors to three countries on Tuesday, in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Zhang Limin was appointed the new ambassador to the Republic of Latvia, replacing Ji Yanchi.

Hu Yeshun was appointed the new ambassador to the Kingdom of Tonga, replacing Gao Shanhai.

Zhang Haizhou was appointed the new ambassador to Azerbaijani Republic, replacing Zhang Xiyun.
