Foreign trade volume in E. China province to top 100 bln U.S. dollarsZhejiang Province, a major foreign trade base in eastern China, expects to gain 100 billion U.S. dollars in foreign trade value by the end of this year, a year-on-year increase of 25 percent. According to the latest data provided by the provincial foreign trade and economic cooperation department, the import and export value of Zhejiang came to 97.46 billion U.S. dollars by the end of November, up 26.6 percent over last year's same period. The figure included 69.68 billion U.S. dollars in export value and 27.77 billion U.S. dollars in import value, up 33.1 percent and 12.9 percent respectively. In the first 11 months, Zhejiang sold abroad 27.31 billion U.S. dollars worth of machines and electronics and 5.38 billion dollars worth of new- and high-tech products, up 39.9 percent and 57.6 percent respectively.
