font size

East China's Anhui Province has set up an archive network on bribery and it will provide services for public inquiry from the New Year Day on, according to the provincial procuratorate.

The network includes all bribery records in Anhui Province that have been investigated from 1997 and confirmed by the people's courts at various levels.

Deputy Procurator-General of the Anhui Provincial People's Procuratorate Bao Guoyou said he hoped that the system will help related departments to keep informed and cautious against those units and individuals tainted by bribery records.

The recorded bribery mainly occurred in construction, finance, health, education sectors and government purchasing departments.

"We sincerely hope the public will make use of the network to keep informed and guard against any bribery that might occur in the related departments," Bao said.
