India to observe one-day state mourning for death of UAE PM

As a mark of respect to UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Government of India will observe one-day state mourning Thursday, according to a press release issued by Government in New Delhi Thursday.

Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum died on January 4.

During the state mourning, the national flag will be flown at half mast throughout India where it is flown regularly. Besides, there will be no official entertainment.
