An updated version of the search engine Google's video search services will allow its website end-users to buy video programme from its cooperative partners, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
The report says that Google will announce at the exhibition of consumer electronics products held in Las Vegas on Friday that it will allow users to buy TV programs and other videos, which can be downloaded to its users' computers.
The journal quoted a well-informed person as saying that Google will likely to reveal the cooperative agreement concerning the new service, which is expected to be reached by Google, CBS Corp and the National Basketball Association.
Additionally, the report discloses that Google plans to offer users a software bundle for the delivery of videos over its network. The bundle will include products from Google and other companies. The journal says that the bundle will be named Google Pack.
So far, Google's spokesperson cannot be reached for comments on the report.
