    11th Harbin Int'l Snow Statue Contest closes

    The photo taken on Jan. 13, 2006 show the third-prize snow statue "Dialogue" during the 11th Harbin International Snow Statue Contest in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The four-day event closed its curtain here on Friday, with a Russian team scooping the first prize. A total of 27 teams from 17 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada and Russia, took part in the contest.
