font size

The Indonesian government plans to sell state bonds worth 3 trillion rupiah (around 320.5 million US dollars) in an open auction to be held on Jan. 24.

"The state bonds up for auction are the fixed-rate FR0033 series repayable until March 15, 2013 and the fixed-rate FR0034 series repayable on June 15, 2021," the Ministry of Finance said in a statement Monday.

The par value of the state bonds is 1 million rupiah (106.8 dollars), it said.

The bond issuance is aimed at meeting the financing target set in the 2006 state budget, it said.
