According to the latest statistics released by National Administration of Tourism, China has seen a total of 120.29 million inbound tourists and 1.212 billion domestic tourists in 2005, which generated 29.296 billion US dollars in foreign exchange income and 528.6 billion yuan in domestic tourism revenue respectively.
The total income of both international and home tourism hit 765.6 billion yuan, and the outbound tourists reached 31.03 million, setting a new high.
