"China in London 2006" kicks off

The largest-ever celebration of Chinese culture "China in London 2006" was formally launched on Thursday as London Mayor Ken Livingstone and China's Super Girl champion Li Yuchun switched on the specially designed Chinese lanterns in the heart of the British capital.
