Moderate earthquake rocks Tokyo

A moderate earthquake rocked Tokyo and nearby places late Wednesday.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the quake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, occurred at 8:36 p.m. (1136 GMT). Its epicenter is about 110 km below the surface at western part of Chiba prefecture.

There is no immediate report as to injuries or damages.
