The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), a leading state-owned commercial bank in the nation, reported an all-time high 515.3 billion yuan (63.5 billion U.S. dollars) in ATM (automatic teller machine) business turnover last year.

The figure was 181 billion yuan (22.3 billion U.S. dollars) more than the year-earlier level, according to the latest data provided by the ICBC.

Last year, the bank realized 1.62 billion ATM deals, up 510 million from the previous year.

The total included 128.05 million inter-bank deals, up 39 percent year-on-year.

A bank official said e-banking services now account for more than one fourth of the ICBC's total business turnover.
