Parks in Beijing received 5.5 million tourists during the "Golden Travel Week" of the Spring Festival holiday, according to official figures

Figures released by the Municipal Park Authorities on Monday suggested that the number of tourists was 5 percent higher than that of the same period last year.

Temple fairs, which feature Chinese traditional food and performance, were magnetic spots during China's Lunar New Year, which all together attracted more than 2 million people.
