China to allocate 10 mln yuan annually for minority education
font size

The central government will allocate 10 million yuan or 1.25 million US dollars special funds annually to improve primary and middle school facilities in ethnic minority regions, according to Ministry of Finance.

It's hoped that the increase of investment and the readjustment of expenditure structure will really enhance the support for scientific, educational and cultural undertakings in ethnic minority regions in order to improve education there.
