China urges South Africa to crack criminal cases against Chinese citizens

Chinese Foreign Ministry urged in Beijing Thursday the South African government to crack the cases of the recent armed robberies against Chinese citizens as soon as possible.

In an urgent meeting with Vusi.B.Koloane, South African Minister plenipotentiary to China, Huang Ping, deputy director of the consulate department of Chinese Foreign Ministry, said: "We hope the South African side will take China's concerns into full consideration, put the killers into severe punishment according to law, and take measures whatever necessary to improve local security situation to prevent reoccurrence of the similar cases."
