By the end of last December, China exported about 14,212 tons of traditional Chinese medical products, 2 percent more than that of 2004, said Friday's China Securities Journal, citing statistics from the Customs.

Currently, 91.05 percent of the exported Chinese medicine enter into the markets in Asia, Europe and the North America, said the newspaper.

In 2005, China exported 112.8 million-dollar-worth traditional Chinese medicine to neighboring Asian countries, a year-on-year increase of 9.21 percent.

The exports to Europe and North America also surged 24.89 percent and 7.07 percent respectively in 2005, said the newspaper.
