The Malaysian Central Bank Friday announced the launching of a one-stop online information gateway for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to offer comprehensive information on Malaysia's SME development.

The SMEinfo portal, an initiative of Malaysia's National Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council, provides detailed information on all SME development programs from the Malaysian government, said the central bank, which also serves as the secretariat of the council.

It also offers information about financing and advisory services, product development, and marketing for SMEs, the central bank said in a press release.

The central bank hoped that the website could help advance the effectiveness and efficiency of the dissemination of information to SMEs.
