China's Ministry of Commerce on Monday called an end to the anti-dumping tax imposed on unbleached cardboard imported from the United States, the Republic of Korea, Thailand and China's Taiwan Province.
In March 2004, China launched an anti-dumping investigation against the imported cardboard from the above countries and the region.
In May 2005, the ministry decided to take temporary anti-dumping measures after their initial findings.
On Sept. 30 in the same year, after further studies, it adjudged that dumping existed and actual damages were caused. It decided to levy an anti-dumping tax upon those imported products, with a rate ranging from 7 percent to 65.2 percent.
