John Prescott, Deputy Prime Minister and First Secretary of State of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will pay an official visit to China from Feb. 19 to 26 at the invitation of the Chinese government.

This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang Thursday.
