Three Gorges project to realize three goals this year

The Three Gorges project is to realized three major goals this year, namely, generating electricity of 62 billion kilowatt-hour; reaching the design dam height of 185 meters for the whole line by May; demolishing the RCC cofferdam by June and raising the height of post-floodtime water reserves to 156 meters.

China Three Gorges Project Corporation said it would build the Three Gorges project into a real world-class hydropower project according to the quality requirement of Leaving Nothing to Be Desired and No Flaw to Be Found.
