font size

Myanmar Prime Minister Soe Win left Shenzhen Saturday afternoon for home at the end of his five-day official visit to China. He and his party were invited to pay the visit by Premier Wen Jiabao.

Soe Win arrived at this booming city neighboring Hong Kong on Saturday. During his short stay here, Soe Win met with Shenzhen mayor Xu Zongheng.

Xu said Prime Minister Soe Win's current visit would help enhance the mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.

The Myanmar prime minister arrived in Kunming, capital of Southwestern Yunnan Province, on Tuesday for the five-day China tour, during which he met and conferred with top Chinese leaders in Beijing, and also traveled to the northwestern province of Shaanxi and southern Guangdong Province.
