Visiting Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf attended a presenting function of the Chinese edition of his biography in the Diaoyutai Guesthouse in Beijing on Monday noon.

The Chinese writer of the biography Yang Daojin presented the book and a Chinese painting of two eagles to Musharraf. Musharraf expressed his great pleasure and appreciation, and invited the writer to visit Pakistan. He also gave Yang a present in return.

The book, published by the World Affairs Press, will be issued in the near future with more than twenty thousand copies.

Musharraf, who arrived in Beijing on Feb. 19, is on a five-day state visit at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao. The Pakistani President will also visit southwestern Sichuan Province and leave China on Feb. 23.
