The Communist Party of China (CPC) is ready to further promote cooperation with the Independence Party of Morocco, said a senior CPC official Monday in Beijing.
Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark in a meeting with a delegation of the Independence Party of Morocco.
The Morocco delegation, led by Abdelhaq Tazi, chief of parliamentary group and member of the executive committee of the Independence Party, arrived in China's economic hub Shanghai on Friday for a five-day visit to China at the invitation of the CPC.
Liu said during the meeting that the party-to-party relations is important for increasing mutual understanding between the two peoples and for pushing forward the relations between the two nations.
The CPC attaches importance to relations with the Independence Party of Morocco, and will further cement and enhance the friendship and cooperation between the two parties, Liu said.
