font size

About 50 officers and soldiers from the Peruvian navy training vessel Mollendo visited the naval base of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison on Monday in celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Sino-Peruvian diplomatic ties.

Yang Boran, commander of the PLA's naval base, briefed the Peruvian guests headed by Lieutenant Freedy Pinto Sanchez on the PLA's Hong Kong Garrison before touring a Chinese guided missile escort ship in the base.

A friendly football match was organized between the two navies after a welcoming ceremony

The Peruvian navy warship began its four-day visit to Hong Kong on Sunday after touring China's biggest city Shanghai from Feb. 13 to Feb. 16.
